Since its inception, computer technology has had inherent flaws, occasionally even seeming to encroach on tasks typically performed by people.  Speech recognition technology illustrates both these aspects perfectly. To highlight this, I have taken this software and typed a few sentences explaining my excitement about trying it for the first time.  As I start to read these sentences flaws become apparent, sometimes to a humorous degree, the computer seeming at points to create its own storyline.
