This series addresses a question I had: If we were to find the remains of mythical creates today, what would they look like? I believe that what gives these creatures their power are our stories of them. I researched and collected these stories for the devil and created the skull using the text from our historical and cultural stories that depict the devil. Using the rapid prototyping technique from my Reconstructed Reliquaries series, these stories are weaved together to create the final skull sculpture.
