Mirrorized blown glass installation
36' x 18' x 8"

Urban Growths asks for the participation of the viewer as a way to comment on an unused and overlooked space. Mirrorized glass spheres were placed within a vacant outside area, mapping out the surrounding major intersections and creating a new view of the space through the reflected surroundings. The viewer is then allowed to move the spheres to a mapping that they believe is correct and change the reflections once again. The piece was then reinstalled with a new mapping of the surroundings into the Woods Gerry Gallery for permanent installation.
