PHOTO-ELECTRIC, ............................................................... ......... Photo-Electric examines the role of new media as a vehicle, enabling artists to represent their own version of reality and expand the visual possibilities of their work. Utilizing photography in a postmodern sense as a base upon which to create their own unique and exacting visions, these artists challenge the medium's current boundaries. The show features AES + F, Janet Biggs, The Black Estate, Julie Blackmon, Noah Fischer, Harri Larjosto, Stephanie Lempert, and Matthew Sleeth. It will be on view at the CLAIRE OLIVER GALLERY from June 26– July 26, 2008.
